9/24/01 - Alex "Goku" Roman
Finally, the DDR wizard  is our "Freak of the Weak." Why Alex? The question is why not Alex and why did it take so long?  Partly my fault for not realizing how much he had to do with me starting this whole scene here at FYE. He told me so much about DDR when we first got it. I thought it was just another game. I remember when we first got DDR. Marcal was the first one to call when she heard we got a machine. Twenty minutes later, they were there. They played and I was impressed. I talked to Alex for a few minutes and I asked him how popular DDR was. We talked a little but then he had to leave, but he said he would be back the following day to talk some more. So the next day he shows up and we have a hour long discussion that makes me realize that I can do something really special here at FYE. He made me realize how great this game and the people that play it really are.

But thats not all....... We have seen Alex play DDR and we have seen him play Dance Freaks. When Beatmania came in I thought for sure that this was gonna be the one that Alex would not be able to master. Once again, I was wrong. Not only playing, but doing some freestyle with it as well..... You awed the crowds on Friday night on Beatmania, as I watched people shake their heads saying, what can't this guy do. I assure you Mr. Alex I will find a Benami weakness in your system, and I will reign supreme.
