Word to your Moms, Bemani night was off the hook....
Saturday night was definitely rocking. We had a great time and was really impressed with the turnout. The pix and video will be up soon, so keep checking in... What else can I say? Let me start by saying thanks, to everyone who showed up. You are all hardkore. People from Manhattan, Queens, Nassau, Suffolk and Connecticut, all came to represent. Thanks to Yuckmud we had Guitar Freaks set up. We set up the gamecube for some Smash and Monkeyball, and Hdefined even played in his Gorilla mask. Check the pix out and you'll know what I mean. I am definitely gonna try to do this at least once every two months. These get togethers make all the crap that goes on all over the boards seem so minimal. Everyone was getting along, it was a site to see. This proved to me that we will have no problems with our tournament and It will definitely happen. My faith is restored and I know that our tournament is gonna totally Reek of Awesomeness. Keep checking back for the exact date. Also, check out the Masked Ninja Report for Dillingers Freestyle Rules for the tournament. Of course he ad-libs while explaining everything making it some quite enjoyable reading.... Here's The Deal
As everyone knows the board has bee crazy and I had to take action. The whole thing was a mess and I really hope we can move on and leave this whole situation behind us. There are a few things I need to say.
Well, I must say I was really impressed with Nuggets most recent post. It took a man to post that up and I was really pleased to see it.
Some people just hate other people, but like I said, be the better man and keep it to yourself and off the boards. I know Alex will say, why does he hate me? I will answer that for you Alex, he just does, end of story. Tell me you have never hated someone for no reason? We all have. It's just the way it is.

I am also impressed with Pierre trying to smooth things out and Yamcha for tryin to get things back on track. Damn, even Bizarro Goku has posted trying to help things out.

It seems that maybe, just maybe everyone has learned something from this. I hate the fighting, I really do. You are all my freinds, and would do anything for you guys. It kills me and upsets me when I see this shit going on.

I also want to apologize for jumping the gun about cancelling alot of things. I was a little hasty in my decision.

In closing.....
The get-together will be back on For Saturday......
The tournament is back on but will be re-scheduled for a later date. I will need some time to convince some people that we can all act civil to each other. It will happan, guaranteed..

So as of now I am lifting Nuggets ban on this board. I know, everyones gonna be like, big deal, you banned him for 2 days. Well, I feel with his post, this has been a big deal for him. As for the tournament, I have one thinkg to say to Nugget,,,,you are entering, even if I have to drive down to Conneticut and force you to enter...lol.. You heard it right. Today was the day of the Dillinger challange. A few weeks ago Dillinger made a challange to me. He stated that he could smoke me on any game, anytime, anywhere. So, I decided to go Old School. A good old fashioned game of skeeball. Of course Dill said he would own me in skeeball and I awaited for his arrival. So, today I schooled that boy. He scored a pathetic 17,000 to my 39,000. So now, It's open season on Dillinger. Check out our message board and you will see a brand new forum. It's "The All Flame Dillinger Forum" It's only for a limited time. So, go get your flame on.

I know the lack of updates is annoying and one again I apologize. With the
holidays and all it has been difficult for me to keep up. So, here it
is......New update, New Freak, New Dear DDR Man (X-mas edition),  a brand new
"2 Left Feet" from Hdefined, and a brand new feature called "The Masked Ninja
Report" which is just an outsiders opinion of things going on at South Shore
Bemani. Both of these features are now accessible through the navigation bar
for your convenience.
Everything here is Business as Usual. The DDR weekend is coming up and Im
trying to do a lock in. For more information on the click on "The Masked
Ninja Report" section. All the info. is there.
As far as the Tournament in February. All the information and rules will be
posted up in January. They are being worked on, but it is difficult to finish
up with everone's crazy December schedule. They will be finalized and up
after the holidays.

One last thing.......
We are proud to present our first and possibly last South Shore Bemani Award
nominees. Assorted categories will be voted on. All the nominees were voted
in by a panel of 4 judges. Winners will receive a an award certificate, and 5
free games of DDR. I know it's a cheesy prize....but...

New Stuff Happening at South Shore Bemani
Well, the battle has come and gone and now the holidays are upon us. We got a new DDR Man, Club Card Promotion and a whole new "Freak of the Week".
The mall hours are changing so if you want to know what they are check out the arcade info link on the Nav. Bar. We will be opening early and staying later so you will have plenty of time to get your DDR fix in. Just a quick reminder. When we start staying open till 11pm there will be no DDR after closing. Those of us who close will not get out till 12 and then we have to be back at 6am. We will not be staying past 11pm, sorry.
Also as you know DDR Revelation is history. All ties with DDR Revelation have been severed. All posters and flyers have been destroyed and burned. Prophecy is no longer a part of South Shore Bemani and is no longer a part of this DDR Family. He has done something that I can never forgive and is no longer welcome here. He betrayed my trust and that is just not acceptable. I can not and will not put up with anyone who is affecting or disturbing my place of business. With that said, let's move on....
Hdefined is back with an all new "2 Left Feet" so I advise you to go to the articles section and check it out.
We got alot of new stuff coming to the site, so keep your eyes peeled. Some of it will suprise you and some of it may be offensive and shocking. I will say one thing though, I guarentee that it will be entertaining. So, be on the lookout.....
Last but not least I want to welcome our newest moderator. He is the man we all know as Sivus. He is a great guy and a true freind and I know he will do a great job. I would also like to  thank all the Moderators of the message board. Everyone is doing a great job. Since 11-4-01 we have had 16,814 visits and 1,716 posts to the message board. A Battle Beyond Battles--DBDRZ is Victorious
What can I say? The battle between DBDRZ and The Rand Corporation was off the hook. It was a great fight and a great time was had by all. It lasted almost 5 hours and I have to give props to everyone who participated. It all went pretty flawless. We did have one medical situation with Goten of DBDRZ but he pulled through it and even came back to see how his team did. This boy is hardcore.... I would also like to thank Hdefined, Dollar Bill, and DDR Princess for judging. I knew the Hdefined thing would turn some heads. The look on Nuggets face was priceless. I would also like to personally thank Sivus for helping me out today. You went out of your way to give me a hand and I thank you. You are a true friend. I appreciate it.

The Battle and The Update
First off, I want to take this time to say a few things. We all know the drama that is taking place at FYE. Usually, it doesn't bother me and I try to handle the situation as best as I can. But at the moment I really don't have time to deal with all this crap. I have had a huge loss with the death of my grandfather and listening to alot of you tell me I have to do something about this petty fighting is starting to make me angry. I have alot of shit to do right now with this funeral and don't have time to deal with some of you fighting over a game. So, you will have to deal with this yourself until I get my shit together, end of story...

Next subject, I want to let everyone know about a few things. We have added 2 new items to the page and I'm pretty happy about them. First up is the Revelation Section. This is where you can find out exactly what DDR Revelation is. The heavens have brought the man Prophecy down to earth to bring us and teach the readings of the good book.."The DDR Bible". Check it out, it's very interesting. Then we have our new "2 Left Feet" feature in the articles section, written by our very own Hdefined.

Last but not least, the Battle Rules. Here's the story. I'm not happy with the way we have worked this out. It is truly unfair for me to make the rules. I have some basic rules to go buy but this is what's gonna happan. The Battle will begin between 4 and 4:30. One hour before, both Team captains and all 3 judges plus myself will get together and discuss exactly how this will go down. Everyone needs to have input. It's only fair. I will tell you this. The Freestyle part will be players choice. You can do either single or Double. The Perfect Attack part will be based on number of perfects with number of greats as a tie breaker if needed. We will have single and double Perfect Attack. For the single, both players will play together. Each person will chose the one song and the third will be random. The rest we will discuss on Saturday before the Battle. So, this goes out to both Captains, please get their early, or you will have no input. We need this to be fair. Now, alot of people are trying to figure out who the 3 judges are. Well here you go. The judges will be........

It is official, Airwalker and Sir Pump have found a new home. That home will be with Project Infinity. This is quite a pick-up for P.I. and I'm glad to break the news here first. Airwalker made the announcement early today after his meeting with the members of P.I. So good luck and may the arrows guide you to success.....

One last thing, going forward...Please check the Club Card Promotion page for days we will be open past 10:00. There seems to be some confusion, so the nights that I close will be posted up so everyone knows what days we will be open till 11:00.

The Biggest Update Ever
As you all know it’s been awhile, and this update will be pretty big. So get yourself a drink, something to eat, sit back, relax and start reading.
All new Freak of the Week, Dear DDR Man, Club Card Promotion, and a whole ton of news….

First off……I have heard from secret sources that The Rand Coorporation is about to issue a challenge to South Shore Bemani. A battle beyond battles. So I am asking all of you for a favor. I am going to pick between 8 and 10 players to form a Super Team to once and for all defeat this Rand Coorporation. We must unite for this event. South Shore Bemani is your home, and all of you represent us. You have made this all possible and I appreciate it. I built this home for all of you and we will not be owned by anyone. So, once they make their challenge I will individually call upon some of you to be a part of this team. Please do not be upset if you are not called upon. All of you are still a part of South Shore Bemani. Everyone that plays here is part of the team. I will keep everyone posted, and keep checking the message board, because the challenge will be issued there.

On to other news…The NYDS tournament will be held on December 15. The entry fee will be $20.00. There will be a perfect attack division, 2 freestyles *team and single*. More details to come..so keep checking back. I will be loading up the van with people so if you want to enter please let me know.

It seems that Team DBDRZ is starting their own website, so I will assume that us working on that project has come to an end. Best of luck with the site. So, instead of the DBDRZ link we will make that a Team Link, and all the teams will be listed. We will list the members, any news you would like us to post, practice schedules, meetings, you say it and we will put it up. This site is getting a lot of recognition. We are 6000 hits strong and counting. All I will say about individually Team Websites, please make them original and do not bogart stuff of our site. It’s a little annoying to the people working on this site. Also, do not put video up on your site unless you get permission from the person you are video taping. It’s a must and it is common courtesy, so please ask before you put stuff up…..

It also seems that South Shore Bemani will invade ICON this year. We will show our support and help out with the convention. In a few days you will be able to download the ICON permission slip. So, print it, fill out the information and bring it down to us so we can get them in…..Thanks…

South Shore Bemani is proud to announce the birth of yet another team…..PROJECT INFINITY! The team in it’s early stage consists of 3 players. Crazy Dan, Cez$, and Patty. They have been hard at work practicing routines for our upcoming tournament. They are currently looking for a few new members. If you are interested in being a part of PROJECT INFINITY, please email musicman0501@cs.com or cityninja@aol.com , but please be advised……You will not only have to be dedicated to DDR as well as all Bemani, but you must be willing to practice a few times a week. You must have some freestyle skills and absolutely no Bar-huggers. Slackers need not apply. Everyone in PROJECT INFINITY is equal. The only time any leadership will be shown is in the decision making process when you audition…..Good luck to those who try out and once again we welcome you to our home at South Shore Bemani.

Next, I would like to clear up a few things about the team situation. If you leave a team, that's fine. Just leave and keep your mouth shut. Move on and do whatever it is you have to do to make you happy. I got news for all of you Team DBDRZ has been down since day one and they have love for all DDR players. THey were the first crew to establish themselves at South Shore Benami and any personal attacks against them is a personal attack against me. Team DBDRZ is the reason why I brought this to the next level. So if you bash Team DBDRZ, then your bashing South Shore Bemani.

Last but not least, South Shore Bemani will be sporting a new message board. It will be up in a couple of days and only regisered users will be able to post. So if you flame you will be banned. I don't care who you are. Maryssa will be in charge of the board and will have full controll to ban and delete posts over all forums. Each forum will also have it's own moderator. Be on the lookout, It will be up soon.....

Halloween Party Was The Bomb
What can I say. I want to thank everyone who showed up. Thanks to you we had yet another succesful event. Pictures are already up so take a look and keep checking back. Video footage is on the way.
Congratulations to the winners. Honorable mentions were given to Fuzzi, DJ Transvestite, and Nobody. 3rd place went to Maryssa, 2nd Place went to Alex and Marcal, and 1st place went to Jim the Fly and Dollar Bill.. Only one point stood between first and second place. I hope everyone had a good time and it was great seeing some new faces....Simon, Nobody, and all the others who came with them, it was great meeting all of you. From all of us here at South Shore Bemani...HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

Well, as you can see, here is the new design for the site. I would like to personally thank LI Rudie for everything he’s done… I said it before but I will say it again. YOU THE MAN!!!

As most of you know 4th mix plus is here and it rocks. So if you haven’t been down here to try it yet, I advise you to get your butt down here and try it…..  4thplus has battle mode and I guarantee that it will own you once you play it….

The Halloween Costume contest is gonna be off the hook. Like I said before, it will be judged on costume, routine, creativity and overall originality. It’s safe to assume due to the whole Halloween theme, that costumes will play an important part in this contest. It will start at 4pm and you can register that day up until 3:30pm. So just come in and sign up at the counter. The judges are as follows… Karen (DDR Girlie), Mike (LI Rudie), and Me,(if you don’t know who me is then, shame on you). Mike and Karen will not be accepting bribes, but I do have some weaknesses, so what am I trying to say? Well im not saying I do take bribes, but at the same time, I’m not saying I don’t. The contest will last as long as it needs to get finished. It will be on the 4th mix plus machine which at this point does not have a memory card. So for those of you who planned a routine with a memory card, we will letyou perform on the 3rd plus machine. Just please let us know when you register. There will be no entry fee, but you will have to pay for the game. You will be judged on the first song and then you can finish your other two….. Well, that’s it for now, see you all tomorrow.

Status of FYEDDR, The Halloween Costume Contest, Tekken 4, and Some New Stuff
Well its been a few days and we haven't really heard anything but here's what I know. The address www.fyeddr.com will probably stay. The actual title of the page will be changed. I have received alot of great names and we will pick one shortly. All references to FYE on the site will be taken down and replaced with South Shore Mall. As far as the message board goes, that is a public forum, I have no control what you guys post. So don't worry about that. It's just a minor setback. We will be fine. As far as the halloween contest goes. It will start around 4 and the judges have been picked. There will be a cash prize which im still working on for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. I have said it before and I will say it again....Costumes play a very important role in this. On the day of the contest you will just need to see me so I can sign you up. Well thats it for now. Oh, wait 2 more things, We have Tekken 4 and Para Para was shipped today and 4th mix plus will be shipped next week......

This is extremely important......and I need everyone's help on this one.. Due to copyright problems we need to change the name of the site. The first thing I'm asking is that you do not bash FYE in any way.... That will not help me in any way. The story behind this is too involved to put up here, but if you come in I will gladly explain. As of now the address of the site will stay but the title and affiliation with FYE will no longer exist.....So instead of FYE we will just use the name South Shore Mall. I know it stinks but it has to be this way.

Now, what I need from you guys is a new name for this site. I want you guys to throw around some ideas and mail them to me at ddrmessiah@aol.com. So far we got 2 ideas. DDR Messiah....Follow the steps to the home of the DDR Messiah and his apostle LI Rudie, in Bayshore NY and the second one is MDDRL.....Much DDR love at the South Shore Mall in Bayshore, Ny.

So if any one has any ideas mail them to me and we will keep you posted. If we have to change the address as well we will post the new one up here until we make the change.......

Please be patient, and don't lose faith....We won't let you guys down.

Everyone Please Read
Big Tournament at Broadway City this Winter, and people  on DDR Freak are talking about Team FYE and DBDRZ. We need to enter this tournament. I will be renting out a van and we are going......If you want to participate let me know.....We can do this...If you want to see the post, go to www.ddrfreak.com and look at the post by nuggetseele titled "Your not gonna believe this........A invitational-only Winter tourney"  We are mentioned a few times.....Our presence is known...

Sorry for the delay on the update....Been really busy...Not busy enough to forget about all of you.....So, we got the old design back, we got a new "Freak" for ya, new club card stuff, Dear DDR Man, what more could you ask for.... Well, I will tell you.
1. First off we got the 1st Annual Halloween DDR Costume       Contest right here at FYE. It will take place on October 27th. This will be alot of fun. There will be 3 judges and it will be scored on costume and routine. This is not a tournament but a contest. I want everyone to have fun with this. Costumes will play a heavy part in the scoring....I mean it's Halloween for Pete's sake....
2. We shall have some new additions to the arcade in the next coming weeks. First off, we have a Tekken 4 in a 50 inch screen coming.... Then we go a big screen Samba Di Amigo(dreamcast version) also on it's way. Then hopefully about a week later we will unveil the DDR 4th mix plus...
3. The Benami Olympics.........more info on that coming soon.......
4. DDR Dojo.....What is DDR Dojo, It will be a DDR workshop. Brush up on your skills with some of FYE's finest DDR masters. Can't beat Afronova on trick? Let us help you....more info. coming soon.......

Words cannot express how I feel at this moment....
Let me start by saying thank you to everyone who came and showed their support today. It was a great time and it was awesome to see all the new faces. The crews from Manhattan, Conn., New Jersey, I want to personally thank you all... To all the hardcore Fye players, well, what can I say, as usual, you pulled it off... The owner loved what he saw, and we are going to work on getting you as much Benami as possible. Beatmania, Para Para, and 4th Mix Plus, will be the ones. Thanks again everyone.
As I sit here, wearing my awesome DDR Messiah shirt I can't help getting all choked up. It started with 2 of my favorite DDR Girls (Heather and Jamie) making me a poster to hang on the wall. It was awesome and I want to say thanks, you have no idea how much that meant to me.... Then when Marcel led me to the back so Goku could say a few words about me, well, I almost lost it.. Then when you guys started the "Ted" chant, I felt so much love in my heart, it was amazing. I wish I could thank each and every one of you right here but there is just too many names to list. I loved the card, and I love the shirt... You guys are the best and I just want you to know that I love each and every one of you. Thanks for one of the most memorable moments in my life.......
